The COCD Transportation Career Bridge is a workforce-aligned, credit-bearing language pathway program that prepares bilingual and internationally experienced talent for safe, effective, and reliable entry into transportation, logistics, and supply chain careers.
The program functions as a Competency-to-Credential Pathway, translating real-world driving, logistics, and mobility experience into recognized workforce credentials and academic opportunities.
The pathway treats language as transportation infrastructure, ensuring workers can communicate clearly, follow safety protocols, navigate systems, understand regulations, and operate effectively across warehouse, roadway, and logistics environments.
At the same time, the program builds a parallel on-ramp to college and credentialing, allowing participants to transition from noncredit training into CDL programs, logistics certifications, and supply chain education without traditional remediation barriers.
The work aligns with the following transportation and logistics roles:
All legal immigrants who know the English (Roman) alphabet and can access email via phone or computer may apply. English skills are assessed upon admission.
